Queensbury Theatre, West Houston’s historic non-profit theatre located in CityCentre, today announced the details of their 2025 Main Stage production of A Charlie Brown Christmas, running December 11-21.  Full show details and tickets, which range from $18-$53, are on sale now at https://www.queensburytheatre.org/christmas.

First staged two years ago at Queensbury, A Charlie Brown Christmas will welcome several cast members back for this production, including Marco Camacho as Charlie Brown (“Leaf Coneybear” in Theatre Under The Stars’ Spelling Bee, “The Cowardly Lion” in Queensbury’s The Wizard Of Oz); Austin Colburn as Linus (currently making his Off-Broadway debut as “Lucas/Tye” in Fixing Frankie, “Jamie Wellerstein” in Queensbury’s The Last Five Years); and Lauren Salazar as Lucy (“Gertie Cummings” in Theatre Under The Stars’ Oklahoma!, “The Baker’s Wife” in Into The Woods).

New cast members to this production include Queensbury’s Tribble School of Performing Arts alumnus Collins Rush as Snoopy and Austin Brady as Pigpen. A full cast list can be found on their website at www.queensburytheatre.org/christmas.

On Thursday, December 11, the theatre will hold a preview performance ahead of Opening Night on Friday, December 12.  Evening performances begin at 7 PM, with a 2 PM matinee on Saturdays and Sundays.  Following the Thursday, December 18th performance, Queensbury will host a “Peanuts Pride Night” with a free event following the show with specialty cocktails and a special guest performance.  The show is open to audiences of all ages, and the estimated running time is 90 minutes without an intermission.

This Saturday, October 25, Queensbury will host a free community event for all ages, “It’s a Fall Fest, Charlie Brown,” with facepainting, fall sweets, raffle prizes, and a screening of It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.  Reserve your free seat here.

Additionally, the theatre recently announced its next Main Stage production: Mean Girls, running August 6-16, 2026.  On November 9, Queensbury will hold a happy hour benefiting that production featuring sneak peek performances, pink cocktails, and light bites. Click here for more information.

The 2025 production of A Charlie Brown Christmas follows The Last Five Years, which the Houston Chronicle called “a masterful showcase for two actors.” The Main Stage arm of Queensbury fulfills the vision set out by the non-profit to serve actors in all stages of their careers: The Tribble School for training, The Bridge Program to integrate new graduates into professional level theater, and The Main Stage, Queensbury’s professional equity theater wing.

Queensbury Theatre is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in CityCentre.  A professional theater in West Houston, Queensbury also offers educational theater programs through its Tribble School for the Performing Arts.

Formerly known as Country Playhouse, a community theater that opened in 1956, Queensbury Theatre launched in 2015 with state of the art facilities to serve the diverse community and culture of West Houston.  Its mission is to provide exceptional theatrical entertainment and education while creating an environment where Houston artists and teachers can do meaningful work.
